Who We Are?

We are a coalition dedicated to mobilizing, energizing, and empowering the African Immigrant Community across the United States to fully exercise their civic rights, particularly the power of their vote. For too long, our community has not fully leveraged this power, resulting in our interests being underrepresented and underfunded at both state and national levels. By addressing this critical gap, we aim to educate and galvanize the African immigrant community to understand the true impact of their votes and the collective strength we hold when we come together.

Our Impact

Our primary focus is on the African immigrant community, but our reach extends to the broader African Diaspora. We work closely with local and state governments, elected officials, civic engagement nonprofits, and other coalitions to mobilize and energize our communities through educational workshops, community-centered conversations, and strategic partnerships. Our efforts are designed to not only increase voter turnout but also to ensure that our voices are heard and our needs are met in the policy-making process

Our Team

Our coalition is led by members of the African immigrant and African Diaspora communities, each bringing a wealth of experience from diverse industries and backgrounds. Our founding team has over 15 years of combined experience in public policy, grassroots organizing, lobbying, campaign advisory, and community engagement. This diverse expertise equips us to effectively advocate for the interests of our community at all levels of government.

As a newly formed initiative, we are laying the groundwork for a powerful movement. Our immediate goals are to mobilize, energize, and engage the African Diaspora community in voting; to drive fundraising efforts; to boost voter registration and turnout; and to build a robust national coalition of partners across various states and industries.
